Justin Timberlake featured on new album Foo Fighters
Justin Timberlake is the ‘mystery guest’ on the upcoming album from the Foo Fighters, Concrete and Gold. Singer Dave Grohl says that Timberlake himself asked to be on the album with them singing.
Grohl tells Rolling Stone that the band and Timberlake regularly drinks drunk between shots in a music studio in Los Angeles, California, where they independently of each other numbers recordings.
“We drank whiskey in the parking lot. He was really cool. The last night that he was there, he asked if he was allowed to sing on our album. “I want my friends to be able to tell’,” says Grohl.
The contribution of Timberlake is finally not very large: on a song, he sings the “la la la’s”. The Foo Fighter singer was very impressed: “That boy is still somewhere,” says Grohl, laughing.
