The White House and the U.s. department of Justice are investigating an alleged hacking of an email account of an employee of the White House.
E-mails that the employee would have been Thursday on a klokkenluiderswebsite published, reports Politico. It comes to a person who works for the campaign team of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
There was also a scan of what is possible with the passport of first lady Michelle Obama, was put on the website. It is unclear whether this is a real photocopy.
The e-mails would focus on preparations for the campaign of Clinton, such as the booking of a stage at a meeting.
A spokesman for the White House and attorney general Loretta Lynch had to know to be aware of the publications. Substantively, they wanted to not respond to it.
