Julianne Hough is in mourning over the loss of her two dogs died on the same day.

The actress/dancer/singer revealed on Instagram on Saturday that her beloved Cavalier King Charles spaniels passed away last month.

“Pure love is real, it exist because of us,” she captioned a photo of herself with her pets. “My heart was enlarged, and felt the truth of what is possible. I am forever grateful for your efforts. Thank you for your love. Thank you for being my baby, my daughter. Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for teaching me how to work with your mother. Thank you for allowing me to give and receive love. Thank you for your kisses.”

She added that she had “never experienced a love like ours.” She ended the post saying, “I miss you, I love you forever Now that You’re Free.”

Hough, 31, it is impossible to say what is the cause of the death of her dog. She picked up Lexi in 2008-and the Harley in the year 2011.

Her husband, Eric Laich, who wrote a tribute to the pups.

“Her tragic passing, my wife and I were devastated. Lexi and Harley, were not just pets to us, they are our children, and we loved it as such,” he wrote, in part.
