Judge schedules a 10-day trial in mystery deaths case

CONCORD, N. H. – A judge has denied a request by a Vermont man to dismiss a lawsuit filed by his own family accuses him of killing his millionaire grandfather and possibly his mother in an attempt to collect inheritance money.

Judge David, the King scored on a 10-day trial in probate court in the case of Nathan Carman, from 2019.

Carman is acting as his own lawyer. He is a suspect in the 2013 Connecticut shooting death of real estate developer John Chakalos. No one has been arrested. Carman was also questioned about when his boat sank and his mother on board in the near of Rhode Island in 2016. She is presumed dead. Carman has denied involvement in both cases.

Carman’s aunts indicted in New Hampshire last year.

Messages seeking comment from Carman continued to Monday.
