Jubilee Holland Festival with old friends
The Holland Festival is this year seventy years, and that must be between 3 and 25 June is to be celebrated. Therefore, to come there in June of ‘old friends’ back from the history of the event.

Also occurs in the German opera singer Jonas Kaufmann for the first solo in the Netherlands. He is in the opening weekend to see a concert with works by Verdi and Wagner. The Dutch soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek is a special guest.
The Holland Festival takes place from 3 to 25 June and counts fifty productions with 142 performances and concerts. In total, there are seventeen world premieres to see and 32 Dutch premieres.
The organization sets this year the democracy central, with ten performances, in which artists issues to investigate where western democratic countries. For instance, director Richard Nelson in The Gabriels to the last American election year through the eyes of an ordinary family, and to focus directors Dieudonné Niangouna and Thomas Bellinck on the vluchtelingenkwestie in their performances.
Furthermore, presenting at the National Theatre in London and The National Theatre from the Hague to pieces In My Country and The Nation. Both give performances of a torn country, where no one’s responsibility seems to dare to take.

In Ruang Suara works of contemporary Indonesian composers and musicians together with the Ensemble Modern from Frankfurt. Also music of composer George Crumb.
