One of Josh Turner’s tour buses was involved in a fatal crash. In the land of the star, the way it was, the crew will travel by bus to San Luis Obispo County, California, when the driver lost control and plunged the bus into a dam. The accident resulted in the death of one and injuries to seven others.

Josh Turner said it was a struggle to put into words, the desolation and sadness” that he and his family are gone, the feeling after a bus crash killed one of the members of the crew and seven injured earlier this month.

The country singer, 41, took to Facebook on Tuesday to address the tragedy of the accident and asked the fans for their continued prayers. He also shared kind words about the man who died in the crash.

“If I were to try to write this, I don’t know what to say. It has been a struggle to put into words, the desolation and sorrow that is in our way, the family is trying to handle. We have lost a much loved member of our team, with David Turner,” the singer wrote. “He was like a brother to so many in this industry, as well as a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Please keep David’s [Turner’s] family is in our prayers.”


David Turner, 64 years of age who was not related to the singer, he worked as the star’s sound engineer for nearly 14 years.

Josh’s post is that “All of our crew members suffered substantial injuries, and a lot of long roads to recovery. I would ask that you give them privacy in this time of need.”

Turner, it turned out that the management company has created a GoFundMe page, where fans will be able to donate to the wounded crew members to a recovery.

“Your prayers have been felt. Continue to pray,” he concluded in the post.

Turner and his band were on the bus at the time of the crash.


Last week, the car and the bear, David Turner, was eastbound on Highway 46 in San Luis Obispo County, Calif., after a show at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles. According to the San Luis Obispo Fire department, the bus went off the road, plunging into a sea.

Turner’s reps, told Fox News in a statement shortly after the crash: “Josh Turner, and the way the family was hit by a devastating loss. Press and hold the crew and the band, and Josh in your thoughts and prayers. All of the remaining shows in September, will be postponed to a later date.”
