Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan questions, the former trump lawyer Michael Cohen during a House Oversight Committee hearing.
House Oversight Committee Ranking member Jim Jordan blasted Michael Cohen in the former trump lawyer, controversial public hearing on Wednesday, claims Cohen turned to the President, because he can land a job in the White house.
“You said all these bad things about the President in the last 30 minutes, but she worked for him for 10 years. If it is so bad, I can see that you are working for him, for 10 days, 10 weeks, maybe 10 months. But you worked for him for 10 years,” said Jordan on Wednesday.

Jordan, R-Ohio, lit up in Cohen after the star witness, delivered an opening statement, calling the President a “racist” and a “swindler” and accused Trump of the numerous misdeeds, before and after he became President. However, Jordan Cohen, who will soon report to a three years in prison, shared only with a Trump, after he was excluded from the White house.
“How long have you been working in the White house?” Jordan asked.
“I’ve never answered worked in the White house,” Cohen.
“That’s the point, isn’t it? They wanted to work in the White house, but you don’t get brought to the dance,” said Jordan.
Cohen replied: “no, sir.”
“You don’t get a job in the White house. Now you are acting like everyone else who does not have a job…like Andy McCabe and James Comey…” said Jordan, referring to the top FBI officials are sold under the trump administration.
Cohen, who worked served as a trump card, the personal attorney for 10 years, never, take in the White house or an official capacity on the Trump campaign, despite allegedly with expectations on to prominent roles.
Cohen allegedly employees said that he expected to Trump the first chief of staff—a job, finally, to former Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus. Cohen also allegedly thought he would be elected, Trump listened to was the campaign chief, but instead, Steve Bannon, to fill the post
Trump, the older sons echoed these reports, as Cohen testified Wednesday.

Donald Trump Jr, Nailed in mixed sharing, his brother, the tweet and said: “it is. It was truly the biggest joke of the entire transition. The beginning of his bitterness when he realized that was never going to happen. #Delusional.”
In his testimony, though, Cohen says he “didn’t want to go to the White house, said he was offered jobs in the Office of Legal Counsel, working with the former White House Counsel Don McGahn, but decided it would be best to maintain its role as a trump card, the personal attorney to handle some of the things in my opening statement.”
“All I wanted to know what I have,” Cohen-Jordan said. “The personal lawyer of the President. I got exactly what I wanted.”
COHEN ACCUSED TRUMP OF KNOWLEDGE OF ROGER STONE-WIKILEAKS-PLOT
Cohen added that he wanted to observe to remain in New York, his son in the end finished his senior year in high school, and you have to wait for his daughter to college and back to Manhattan.
In the meantime, as part of Jordan’s blistering comments meant to chip away at Cohen’s credibility as a witness, he cites a number of other crimes, such as tax evasion, which Cohen admitted under oath had nothing to do with the protection of a trump card.
Jordan listed five years of false tax returns filed by Cohen and asked if he wanted to, that “blind loyalty” for Trump.
“No, I don’t,” Cohen said.
“If you don’t pay the $1.4 million in taxes—I got a components that was not in a life-time, that some blind loyalty?” Jordan asked.
“It wasn’t, but the number was $1.38 million and change, and I have paid that money back to the IRS,” Cohen quibbled.
Jordan also cited the threatening statements of Cohen years to a Daily reporter Beast.
“”Tread very f—ing easy. Because what I’m doing, she is very f—ing disgusting.’ Who said that?” Jordan asked.
“I said,” Cohen, adding that it is to “protect Mr. Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump.”
Cohen pleaded guilty in November to lying to Congress about a Trump, a real estate project in Russia, as part of Mueller’s investigation into the Russian interference and possible collusion with Trump allies of the campaign. In August, Cohen also pleaded guilty to five counts of tax evasion, one count of making false statements to a financial institution, a number of deliberately causing an illegal corporate contribution, and a number of making an excessive campaign contribution. The excess campaign contribution was in relation to the $ 130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, in the weeks leading up to the 2016 presidential elections, in exchange for her silence about an alleged one-time sexual encounter with Trump.

Cohen is scheduled to serve in order to report to prison next month, in three years time.
