Jonathan Rhys Meyers was arrested after a domestic dispute with his wife on an American Airlines flight.
Police at LAX Airport held actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers after his flight after he reportedly got into a verbal disagreement with his wife on board an American Airlines flight.
A representative for American Airlines, told Page Six on Monday that Meyers and his wife Mara Lane were involved in a “domestic dispute” during the flight from Miami to Los Angeles with their 1-year-old son. American Airlines requested that law enforcement meet the flight, which landed close to 8 pm, PT, due to the “nature of the argument.”
The Los Angeles Airport Police also told us that Meyers, 40, “and he took a drag, or was about to take a puff from a vape pen,” but the crew told him it was against the regulation, and he put it away.
Meyers and his wife verbal disagreement is not a physical component, so it was determined that no crime had been committed. As a result, he and his wife were released.

Meyers has sought treatment for alcoholism in the past, most recently relapsed in September 2017, following his wife’s miscarriage.
A rep for Meyers not immediately respond to a request for comment.
