This is the first child for the 54-year-old actor and his fiancee, but the baby news does not come as a surprise for the newly engaged couple. In a separate online interview with People’s Editor-in-Chief Jess Cagle, you will make told Cagle that he and McHugh had “talked about” having a baby in the past and recently, things fell into place. You will make also said that McHugh once joked that the two may have a baby before getting married because you will make the “old”.

“The [pregnancy] happened. I then said, I better have a ring on her finger, because it’s the right thing to do, and I wanted to marry her anyway,” you will make said to the People. “So I called her parents to ask for it, and it was like, ‘You better!'”

You will make and the 31-year-old McHugh have been together for two years. The couple got engaged on 22 October during a romantic trip to Disneyland. The actor proposed to his fiancée with a short film compiled of romantic moments from the animated Pixar and Disney movies, which ended with a picture of Sebastian the crab from “The Little Mermaid,” holding a sign that said: “ask the girl.”

McHugh said you will make is the “the biggest, most loving and generous heart of anyone I know.”

The actor admitted to always wanting to be a father and told the People that he is excited for the next chapter of his life. And while they are sharing the news of their engagement with the world, the couple has decided to keep silent on the gender of their new bundle of joy.

I kissed the boy and said:…yes! That is what you do when the sweetest, most romantic, Prince Charming will treat you like a princess and asks you to ?

“The look on John’s face when I told him that we were pregnant, was invaluable,” said McHugh. “It was the look of a man who wanted a family of his own, but was not sure that it’s going to happen for him. Now, is it!”

Although you will make will be a first time father in real life, the actor is no stranger to fatherhood duties after years of playing Uncle Jesse on “Full House” and act as a father on the show of the twins, Nikki and Alex. Needless to say, you will make has its fair share of daddy experience.

“I will be a nice father. I’m already practicing for a long time,” he says, joking, “I’ve done to the schtick you can do with a baby on TV … all the bits and jokes and diaper gags. I will probably just all that kind of stuff.”
