nearvideo John Yoo: Nancy Pelosi is the demand for the Müller report immediately is a publicity stunt
The former deputy assistant Attorney General John Yoo labeled, the calls by Democrats for a Special Counsel Robert Miller of the full report will be published, as nothing more than a “publicity stunt.”
Yoo took aim at the Democrats calling for a full Russia-report, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, warning it could have serious consequences for the future.
“I think Nancy Pelosi is the demand for the report immediately, it is only a publicity stunt,” Yoo told “America’s Newsroom.”
“But there is something worse behind it, what are we really willing to sacrifice the long-term, long-term rights of suspects and witnesses, and cooperates with law enforcement agencies due to the secrecy of a grand jury.

“This is what attorney General Barr will delete the report with his staff, or to black” – from the report. In exchange for the hill, keep your report a week or two earlier.”
On Thursday, Speaker Pelosi, D-Calif., assigned to Barr’s four-page summary letter to Mueller’s investigation as “condescending” and demanded to see the entire report.
“No, thank you, Mr. attorney General,” Pelosi said. “I don’t need your interpretation.”
“Show us the report. We have the facts.”
“I don’t see why Nancy Pelosi or other members on the hill need to get the report, it is faster and, in exchange, to victims, the law, the consent of the Congress, the protection mechanisms to give confidentiality to witnesses and people with law enforcement authorities work together.” Yoo reiterated on “America’s Newsroom.”

He also criticized members of Congress for excessively dependent on the Müller report, say, you want to do is to use it as a kind of “scapegoat”, rather than your own investigation.
“I think what’s happening here, is that the Congress will want to work the Congress can do the same work, Mr. Miller has done. You have the right to subpoena witnesses and bring the same people who interviewed Miller and bring them to the mountain,” said Yoo.
“You don’t want to do, because it is a lot of work, and you don’t want the responsibility, to take accountability. It is much easier for Müller to do it, someone black and then claim some big political scandal. But Müller does not have a monopoly on the truth. If Congress wants to investigate, you can and you should.”
