Rep. John Delaney, 2020 democratic presidential candidate, says that he is glad the investigation is over, the policy can focus on the issues to the American people
The former Maryland Congressman pushed back on the idea that he was “disappointed” as a Democrat, by the results of Robert Mueller’s investigation, rather than the whole country should be happy to be found what the special counsel.
“As an American, on a certain level, I’m very happy that the President of the United States was not indicted for colluding with a foreign power, so on some level I was glad that the report is over, because I think we’ve spent too much time talking about it, and of course I think that every American at some level, should be happy with the headline results,” he said during an appearance on “America’s Newsroom” on Wednesday.

“I think we should see the report, obviously, because I think that the American people – we are never definitive on this matter until we have actually read the report, get it out, and then we can make more.”
