John de Wolf has mixed feelings about the clothing style of the nineties

John de Wolf was in the nineties of the previous century, a style icon. But the current football coach of Spakenburg is looking with mixed feelings back on that period.

The Wolf was in the nineties a popular player of the Team and went outside of the field, often dressed in a floral blouse with a touch colour.

“I have as a result of a bet such a blouse even done at FOX, around the championship Wigan”, says The Wolf in an interview in Heroes.

Yet, the ex-footballer there is also a little bit proud that he put his stamp on the fashions of the day, has to know to print.

“They still speak about the John de Wolf-blouse. You can check to see what impact that has had. As you now see, do you think that you go to the test screen. I see the pictures sometimes back of myself in those clothes and think: my, my, how did you ever dare to walk around.”

‘Time is over’

According to the 54-year-old Schiedam was not the typical shirt in those years. To make the ensemble complete, he wore a matching waistcoat and suit jacket over the blouse.
