Trump fires Secretary Shulkin; taps Ronny Jackson lead to VA
Rumors had swirled for weeks about Shulkin future in the midst of investigations of alleged issues of abuse and reports of internal unrest, to the VA.
The former Director of the CIA, John Brennan took a shot at President Trump on Twitter Thursday, said he believes that the decision to nominate permissible Ronny Jackson, to run the Department of Veterans Affairs “a terrible failure.”
“I know personally and very Ronny Jackson respect….such a great doctor and Navy officer,” Brennan tweeted. “However, he has neither the experience nor the credentials to run the very large and complex VA. This is a terribly misguided nomination is a good man and our veterans hurt both of you.”

Trump announced via Twitter on Wednesday his intention to replace the current VA Secretary, David Shulkin with Jackson, the 50-year-old Navy Admiral, who served as the personal doctor of the President since 2013, when he was appointed by former President Obama, after he was tapped to serve as White House doctor, in the year 2006.

Jackson is also a veteran. He was deployed to Iraq after the 2. Marines in 2005, according to his Navy biography.
Critics question whether Ronny Jackson is ready to lead VA
Jackson nomination caused some concern among lawmakers and veterans groups, to manage on his experience, a Federal Agency has raised, but Trump paid tribute to the life-long doctor as a “very well-trained and qualified.”
To displace Trump Shulkin from his Cabinet decided he was just over a year in office. An internal VA watchdog found last month that Shulkin assumed incorrectly Wimbledon tennis tickets and his then-chief of staff, had doctored to justify E-Mails to his wife travel to Europe with him on tax payer’s costs.
