John Boyega set for the making of ‘Star Wars’ premiere, despite Atlanta snow

John Boyega said he is stranded in Atlanta and can’t make a film on the “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” premiered.

Actor John Boyega appears on the way to the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi” after he was briefly stranded in Atlanta airport due to a rare Southern snowstorm.

Boyega tweeted Saturday morning: “Wow ATL (Atlanta). Seems no one leaves! Think I will start a family now…”

The actor tweeted shortly after that he was cold and his thighs, “not even on the generation of the heat more.”

The “Star Wars” star’s latest tweet there was a call for help.

“Try to go back for the LA premiere! I actually NEED a pilot!” Boyega wrote.

“STAR WARS,” A TRILOGY OF FILMS, A TV SHOW SCHEDULED FOR 2019

Publicist Lindsay Galin tells The Associated Press that Boyega the flight did take off Saturday morning and that he was “on schedule” for Saturday night event

Boyega portrays Finn, a former Stormtrooper who escapes is the First to join the Resistance, in the popular franchise. The premiere is scheduled to take place in Hollywood on Saturday night, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on Dec. 15.

Atlanta was hit with a rare winter storm this week that the international airport Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to cancel 1,200 flights on Friday and more than 400 on Saturday. Some areas of Atlanta received 7 to 8 inches of snow.
