Joe Biden, the national press Secretary, TJ Ducklo, announced on Saturday that he has been diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer, but said he will continue to work through the rest of the 2020 presidential campaign.
Ducklo to explain a series of tweets, why he was absent from the election campaign as of late, and said that he will start his treatment on Monday.
“Some disturbing news to share & explain why I was MIA recently: after a series of tests, I was diagnosed [with] metastatic lung cancer. Which sucks a lot. I am with the treatment Monday, and my doctors start — who were incredible to believe that we are in remission,” he said.
“The wave of support and encouragement I received from family, colleagues, and friends was overwhelming in the best way, and already I feel like I have shit to fight an army behind me, this piece of disease,” he continued.

“It was never added to a question, if I continue to work during treatment — to work for Joe Biden, and the campaign was the best, the most important experience of my life,” Ducklo.
Biden sent a message of support to Ducklo on Saturday and said he and his whole family would be there for support, which will help him with whatever he needed.
“TJ: Stay strong. Me, Jill, and the whole Biden family are with them,” the former Vice President writes. “Not only in spirit– for everything. You have the right attitude. You will beat this and if you do, we are going to celebrate there. Love you, and we are here with you.”

Ducklo thanked Biden for the support and said that he hopes to help him, to heal the disease after you win in the year 2020.
“Thank you, sir. With you and @TeamJoe behind me, I feel like I have super powers. And if one is President, we will heal from this terrible disease for good. Xoxo,” he replied.

In the year 2015, Biden, his son Beau lost to brain cancer after he developed a glioblastoma. Beau was 46-years old.
