Jim Carrey’s rep has to be pushed back against the criticism, the actor is following in the comments that he made towards a female journalist, in a recent interview.
The 58-year-old actor came under fire Wednesday after telling a female reporter that she’s on his “bucket list”.
In a recent interview to promote Carrey’s movie: “Sonic the Hedgehog,” the Heat’s World Magazine’s Charlotte Long-calls “In the movie, Sonic the hedgehog, has a bucket list, and I was just wondering, after everything you’ve done in your career and in your life, there is one thing still on your bucket list?”

“You just,” Carrey responds. “That’s it, it’s all done now.”
Long-smiled and said, “well, I don’t know what to say to you.”

“Just one,” said Carrey.
Twitter users have slammed the act, calling him a “sleazebag” and “unacceptable.”
In a statement to Fox News, Carrey’s rep blasted the critics.

“This is a ridiculous non-story. The full quote was, ” Only for you! That’s it, I’m ready now!” according to the statement. “Jim, it was a clear reference to the interview on his bucket list, and it was in no way referring to the journalist himself. This is just one example of a clickbait headline, pandering to the ‘scroll of the culture.'”
The rep also offered a comment on Yahoo, and despite the fact that the response was, “good-naturedly,” and that he is implying that the interview was at the very top of his bucket list.”
The rep will also be extended to “go for culture”, called it “a dirty business is done by and for people with dirty minds.”

Heat World Magazine has not responded to Fox News’ request for comment, but they have declined to comment.
