Jim Carrey slammed for ‘outrageous,’ fierce portrait of Sarah Sanders

Actor Jim Carrey has painted a portrait of the White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.

Jim Carrey faced swift backlash on Sunday after the actor tweeted a picture that apparently showed the White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders in a terrifying bright light.

“This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only goal in life is to lie for the wicked. Monstrous!” Carrey wrote in his tweet accompaning the portrait Saturday.

Although Carrey does not mention Sanders by name, many Twitter users instantly knew who it was, The Wrap reported.

But not all on Twitter were amused.

“James Woods, has a note about Jim Carrey and the offending portrait that he has proposed to Sarah Sanders?” tonguepiercer wrote.
