Jessica Simpson has no regrets about filming the hit reality tv series “Newlyweds” with ex-husband Nick Lachey, in spite of their separation.
The fashion designer and the singer, 39, will be opened in a new interview, the former couple’s reality tv show, which aired for three seasons, before their marriage came to an end.
“We were newlyweds,” Simpson emphasized to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, “On Air! with Ryan Seacrest” on People. “It was our first time living together. I was still a virgin.”

The mother-of-three revealed he was her father Joe Simpson’s idea for the couple to take part in a reality show. Her father used to work as the manager.
“I want people to understand you, and know that you are the man,'” Jessica recalled her father telling her.
Simpson was 22 years of age, when the MTV series has been very popular. Despite the fact that the couple’s marriage is ending after just four years, in February, and now the credits of the show as the launch pad for her career.

“[The show] is what launched my brand,” Simpson told Seacrest. “Yes, I would have to go back and do it all over again. It’s never been something I couldn’t do it, I’m just, you know, maybe it wouldn’t have done it for a third season.
Simpson released her first memory, “an Open Book” was released earlier this year, where it really is about the highs and lows of her love affair, to Lachey, and came clean about her substance abuse.
In an interview on NBC’s “Today,” Simpson revealed just how bad the tension is between her and Lachey was on the show to close.
“I would have to watch the episodes w / bac, k, and I don’t know what I was seeing,” she told Hoda Kotb. “I saw a lot of people were having a laugh and it was cute, but I was able to see a lot of eye-rolling, and it was not just to manipulate them.”
In an “Open Book,” Simpson wrote at the time, the situation is even worse when the cameras weren’t rolling.

“We were young, and breaking our way through reality tv, is always mic’d and it’s always on,” Simpson wrote in her memoir. “We worked together and became very good at it, but when it came time for a while, and we weren’t very good at it any more.”
Today, Dawn is happily married to a former professional football player Eric Johnson. The two share daughter Maxwell, 7, son, Ace, 6), and Birdie Mae, an 11-month-old.
Lachey married TELEVISION personality Vanessa Minnillo in 2011.
