Jennifer Lopez didn’t mince words about her dislike of Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow and other female stars, in an interview with the dove of February, 1998.

Lopez, 27 at the time and fresh off of the success of “Selena,” boasted about her own talent in comparison to the actress, one of her colleagues.

“I’m the best,” she told Movieline at the time. “If you have the goods, there is nothing to be afraid of. If a person doesn’t have the goods, they are inadequate. I’ve had that problem. I’m not the best actress that ever lived, but I know for sure is that I’m pretty good.”

When asked about Paltrow (who, as Said, previously dated Ben Affleck), the “Hustlers,” star replied, “Tell me, what is it all about? I swear to God, I don’t know what they were. Some of people get hot by association. I learned more about her and Brad Pitt than I ever heard about her work.”

Jennifer Lopez threw serious shade at Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna, in 1998, in an interview, that is, again, 21 years later. She has also been offended, Cameron Diaz, Winona Ryder, Claire Danes and Salma Hayek. She later said that she regretted the remarks.

The interview popped up again after a tweet from the deputy editor-in-chief of the Wirecutter, over the old comments went viral.

She also had words with Cameron Diaz, who previously dated Lopez’s now-fiance, Alex Rodriguez is calling the blonde bombshell “for a lucky model, which is a lot of potential, I just wish they would have done it, that’s all.” They do, however, like to add that Diaz has “good” and said that “Charlie’s Angels” star was in “great abundance.”

Lopez also struck the colleague, the Team, and the former Madonna’s attempts to be a movie star.

“I think she’s a great performer? Yes. I think she’s a good actress? No, no. Acting is what I do, so I’m harder on people when they say, ” Oh, I can do that, I can act,'” Lopez said. “I thought,” Hey, don’t spit on my craft.'”

She was very salt, and with Salma Hayek, who claimed that she was given the role of “Selena” that made Frank a household name.

“She’s a sexy bombshell, and those are the sort of roles that she does,” Frank snorted from the Mexican-born stunner. “I do all kinds of things. It makes me laugh when she says she got offered Selena, ” which was an outright lie. If that is what they are doing to themselves in the media, then that’s her business.”

They also complained about Claire Danes doing “more of the same”, and in each and every role, and said that she had “never been a big fan of Winona Ryder.

As a result, the interview earned a Billboard with a less-than-stellar reputation in Hollywood. Three years later, she lamented to Vanity Fair, “I was so misquoted and so taken out of context, and it is a sore subject for me. I don’t like to hurt anybody. I don’t want to hurt him. I like it, so I will do that at some point. What she wrote in that article, people are hurting.”

She added that, after reading it, she “just sat down and cried for hours and hours.”

In the end of 2018, while the promotion of the “Second Law,” Lopez opened up about the infamous interview.

“It gave me a lot of publicity at the time, and it was a lot of people in the industry are really p—ed off,” she admitted on NPR. So, when I look back on it now, I’ll go, ” You know, I never wanted to hurt anybody.’ I didn’t know that my words can impact people.”

She explained, “You know what, I had no one at that time, so I was still in that sort of fan mentality back in the Us. And then you’re going to say, ‘Oh, wait a minute. You have a responsibility to present yourself, the way you are, and to not let people interpret it in a way that it can be that you can take, to be a good person. And you’re not.’ And that hurt me. And that bothered me. So I’ve learned to be more responsible.”
