Actress Jennifer Lawrence lets loose on “The Late Show,” to possess drinks, kick off her shoes and calls Harvey Weinstein “a ass boil that just won’t go away.”
The “Red Sparrow” star took aim at the disgraced mogul after he called and left her and Meryl Streep as examples of women that he had not bothered, while the defense of his sexual misconduct lawsuit. Weinstein has since apologized for the use of their names.
“He is just terrible a cook that does not go away,” the 27-year-old star said Monday night after a shot of Cuban rum on Stephen Colbert’s CBS talk show.
“You pop it with the butt to the boil. He is just the worst. Just when is it going to end? ” she asked, irritated.
“In the middle of the night in London, I had to come up with a statement,” Lawrence said. “And I said, ‘It is still not over? Are terrible is yet to happen?'”
Colbert said that it was a pity that Weinstein “dragged” her “in his pile of s—t.” But Lawrence said that she was used to: “Everyone does it, but I am very happy and pleased!” she laughed.
Lawrence also discussed her plan to take a year off to work with an anti-corruption organisation as part of “Represent Us,” trying to get teenagers and children to involve in the politics.
She said that her decision to take time out had nothing to do with Weinstein.
