Flake, who left the Senate this year, after he wrote a voting staked out addresses anti-trump stance, after the house voted for two of the indictment — abuse and obstruction of Congress.
The articles are expected to soon go to the Senate for a trial, although there are indications that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., delay the article can be transferred. In the Senate, Trump, it is almost certain acquittal, unless there is a sudden and dramatic shift to the Republicans in favor of the prosecution.
Flake urges Republicans to consider the evidence, but did not repeat at the same time, house Republican claims the President has done nothing wrong: “He has.”

While Flake says that he doesn’t envy Republican senators have the task calls for it to avoid “an Alternative reality, don’t believe us about the things that are obviously true, in the service of the Executive behavior, we have never encouraged, and the theory of Executive power, we have always hated.”
