Jay-Z, The Killers and Miley Cyrus on the fiftieth anniversary festival of Woodstock

Among others, Jay-Z, The Killers and Miley Cyrus to enter in August of the stage because of the fiftieth anniversary of the legendary American festival, Woodstock. This year it’s fifty years ago that Woodstock was organized, and, therefore, the event will be organized again.

Also, The Black Keys, Robert Plant, Halsey, and Chance the Rapper are to see at the festival, which is organized in New York.

There will also be acts enter the stage which were to be seen on the original festival in 1969. Among others, Dead and Company, John Fogerty, Santana, and Hot Tuna to give a show on the three-day jubileumevenement that lasts from 16 to 18 August, writes Rolling Stone.

Over 500,000 visitors came in 1969 on “three days of peace and music”. The event went down in history as the ‘mother of all festivals’.

Because of the great influx were the roads in the area clogged. The organisation had not counted on such a large number of visitors and there was a shortage of food, drinking water and toilets.
