Lisa Bonet appeared to look uncomfortable after model Ashley Graham asked her husband, “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa doing the haka on the red carpet on Sunday the Academy Awards.
An awkward exchange between Lisa Bonet, her husband, “Aquaman’ star Jason Momoa, and the model Ashley Graham went viral for all the wrong reasons.
Bonet, 51, stood side-by-side with her husband as Graham interviewed the couple on the red carpet for the 91st Academy Awards is on Sunday.

The interview appeared to go OK until Graham asked Momoa to perform a “haka move.” The haka is a Maori war dance traditionally used on the battlefield, as well as when groups came together in peace,” according to the New Zealand.com.
Momoa performed the dance during the premiere of “Aquaman” as a recognition for the film, which refers to New Zealand of the indigenous culture in the entire movie, Complex reported.
“I have a haka,” Graham asked Momoa.
“I should get as a haka move, like come on, come on,” she said while she tried the dance.
However, Bonet was not to be. She was to see how she has her hand up and shaking her head in disapproval. It was not immediately clear what they said.
Momoa looked at his wife before he gave in a little and cried for the camera. Graham yelled back and Momoa gave an enthusiastic shout before laughing. After the awkward exchange, the interview was over.

Social media users pounced on the cringe-worthy interview with a number of gifs.
