(Reuters) – Japanese electronics company, NEC Corporation, today announced the launch of a prototype of a flying car, which was on the air for almost a minute during a test run in Japan this week.
They are about the size of an auto-rickshaw, and is equipped with four horizontal propellers, the drone-like ambience of the prototype will reach a height of 3 m (10 ft) during the test in Chiba, east of Tokyo, on Monday.
The flying car has been designed to make deliveries to unmanned flights, the NEC officials said.
The Japanese government plans to begin the roll-out of the flying vehicle by around 2023, beginning with the transfer of the property, and to support the moving people to be closer to 2030.
