Janssen is still at least ten days and not usable for Tottenham
Vincent Janssen hopes to be around christmas his comeback to be able to make at Tottenham Hotspur. The 22-year-old striker is still ten days to two weeks off with an ankle injury.
That told Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday in his preview of the match against Hull City on Wednesday. “He has an injection in his ankle and needs to recover. That can be ten to fourteen days.”
Janssen missed by his ankle injury all the matches played by Swansea City (5-0 win), Manchester United (1-0 loss) and the Champions League match against CSKA Moscow (3-1 win).
In addition to Janssen should Tottenham against Hull without Moussa Dembélé. The former player of Willem II and AZ has a foot injury. Erik Lamela is missing because of an injury to his hip.
Janssen knew this season for the time being only from the penalty spot to score for the Londoners. The ten-fold international of Orange came last summer for around 20 million euro from AZ.
He misses this coming weekend also the home game against Burnley. On the 28th of december against Southampton would Janssen returns.
The match between Tottenham and Hull City will begin Wednesday at 21.00 hours. Tottenham occupied after fifteen duels the fifth place in the Premier League.
