Ron Jans stops at the end of the season as technical manager of FC Groningen. The sixty-year old clubicoon has decided his expiring contract with the ‘Pride of the North’ not to renew.
“I’m there in one and a half years found out that I was more of a stúúrder than a bèstuurder am,” says Jans Monday on the site of the city of Groningen.
“For myself, I have done everything to be a good technical manager, but in the end I felt no more senang enough in this job. I had also hoped to be more positive to achieve.”
