James Taylor cancels concert in Manila because of drug war
James Taylor has his concert in Manila on the Philippines cancelled due to the drug war in the country.
The American singer will find the messages about numerous executions of alleged drug offenders without a process to advance ‘alarming’ and ‘unacceptable’, he says in a message on its website.
The 68-year-old Taylor looked at say accurate to the show, which in February had planned. “It does me sorrow to the concert to say,” says the singer-songwriter, known for hits like’You’ve Got A Friend and Fire And Rain.
He apologises to his fans. “I offer my sincere apologies to my Filipino friends. The cost of all tickets sold will be refunded.”
The decision by Taylor have no effect on his other concerts. His tour to Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand continues.
