Jacqueline Govaert comes in October with the album
Jacqueline Govaert has Friday, her third solo-album announced. The plate Lighthearted Years will appear on October 20 and is the successor of Songs To Soothe-from 2014.
On Lighthearted Years watching Govaert under more back to her time as lead singer of the Band.
“With the passing of years, you go there always different on the back,” she says. “We eat still a few times a year and then the stories and insights about when different. Your perspective it develops. You realize better and better what it meant to be from your eighteenth-public possession. On Lighthearted Years do I get back a little closer to that girl.”
For the album worked Govaert among others, together with producer Mitchell Froom, who was with Sheryl Crow, Crowded House, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello and more recently with Triggerfinger worked. The album is in three weeks time, recorded in Los Angeles.
In the spring, the singer with her album tour through the Netherlands. They are doing more Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht, the netherlands Rotown in Rotterdam and the Horse in The Hague.
