While some singers have pulled out of the run of President-elect, Donald Trump’s inauguration, Jackie Evancho isn ‘ t back down.
In 2010, the “America’s Got Talent” runner-up says that if they are criticized for agreeing to go with the singing of the national Anthem during the inauguration, she is choosing to ignore the haters.
“My family is kind of a big target audience. I have a transgender sister and so much hate goes to us,” Evancho told the People. “But I also get a lot of love. So, we pay the most attention to. Sometimes We get really annoyed with the hate, everybody’s doing it, we have to admit, but we have to just ignore it.”
While some are critical of Evancho the next performance, a lot of fans have their support by the purchase of the singer of the music.
According to TMZ, Evancho’s album sales have quadrupled since she was announced for performance during the inauguration.
Her 2011 album “Dream With Me” and its 2010 “O Holy Night” sitting at number two in the Billboard charts.
In addition to Evancho, the Radio City Rockettes and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in to perform.
