Jack van Gelder should be accustomed to lower ratings after zenderoverstap
Jack van Gelder should there still getting used to that the sports programs that he makes for Ziggo Sport considerably less attention than his work for the NIS.
“That went not at all,” says the presenter, Saturday in the AD about the disappointing ratings of his talk show, Rondo.
“Sometimes there on Monday afternoon 15.30 more people to the repetition than on the fixed time on Sunday,” says the presenter. Yet he is not entirely dissatisfied. “It is reasonable for this station.” Van Gelder is convinced that a program like Rondo on an open channel 700.000 à 800.000 viewers would score.
For Van Gelder, it is important that he does matter. “Especially for your own feeling. Though I also have the NOS almost never wondered how many people watched or listened to and that there were often quite a bit.” The spotlight of the NIS, where he in 2015, left, says he is not to be missed. “As long as you are to yourself the idea that you always have a solid broadcast, is the good.”
However, feel the NOS for him still at home. “I’ve forty years, sat down. At Ziggo I am sitting next to the helmsman on a rondvaartbootje, the NOS is a cruise ship.”
