‘Jack Nicholson will be starring in remake of German film Toni Erdmann’
Jack Nicholson returns after seven year absence, back on the white cloth. The 79-year-old actor goes along with Kristen Wiig playing in the remake of the German-Austrian film Toni Erdmann, reports Variety.
Nicholson played in 2010 for the last time in a feature film. He then had a supporting role in the romantic comedy How Do You Know.
In January, a good friend and colleague Peter Fonda that Nicholson finally retired, but sources tell Variety that the film company Paramount, the actor has managed to tie for the remake of Toni Erdmann.
The German-Austrian film surprised the world and was nominated for an Oscar in the best foreign language film category. In the film Hadewych Minis a small role.
The film tells the story of father Winfried relationship with his daughter Ines is trying to breathe new life into. He travels to Romania to be there unannounced at her office for the fun of it to pop up in costume as a comic character named Toni Erdmann.
According to insiders, was Nicholson really charmed by the film and was willing to retire for a while. When the remake with Nicholson will be shown, is not yet known.
