With the help of first daughter, Ivanka Trump, the Republican party raised over $100,000 for a Fresno, Calif., Event, a report says.
Ivanka Trump and House majority Leader Kevin McCarthy made a joint appearance at a Republican fundraising event in California on Monday to corral support for the party in the upcoming mid-term elections.
The invitation-only event at Harris construction in Fresno was a part of McCarthy’s “Protect the house” – tour, in order to ensure that the GOP retains control of Congress.
California’s Central Valley is banished as one of the last GOP strongholds in a state largely to democratic representation.
The money raised from the Monday of the event to the valley congressional candidate David Valadao, Jeff Denham and Elizabeth Heng.
McCarthy told the participants that President Trump planned to meet with Congress to discuss leadership on Tuesday, one of two versions of a law on immigration to the face, a voice reported from July, the Fresno Bee.

One bill, authored by House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte, is favored by conservatives and immigration hardliners. The other is a moderate version will most likely be favored by Trump, McCarthy, according to a participant.
The lunch raised around $100,000.
House majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has been raising funds aimed at the Republicans keep control of Congress after the November mid-term elections.
Protesters gathered in front of the event to read some with signs, “trump Nixon’s” and “Trump-Nunes: It’s Müller time.”
“If something is so ugly to Fresno, you gotta get up,” a protester, the bee said.
In spite of a short exchange between trump supporters and the demonstrators, the event was largely without incident.
