Its sister company, Google gets investment of 800 million dollar
Verily, the gezondheidstak of Alphabet, the parent company of Google, will receive an investment of 800 million dollar.
The investment is made by an investment company from Singapore called Temasek. That make the two companies Thursday announced in a press release.
Temasek will get a minority stake in Verily, but the companies have not let you know how great that interest is exactly. The bulk of the investment is ‘in the coming days”, the rest of the amount will be later in 2017 to be paid.
In addition, Temasek is a director forward for the board of directors.
Verily, when it was still Google Life Sciences called, came in 2012, when Google began with the development of a contact lens for diabetics, the glucose level of tears meet. Later it turned out that the lens is not good at all would work.
