Islands on the list of 52 destinations in The New York Times

The prominent American newspaper The New York Times, the Islands have a place on a list of 52 places to go in 2019.

The islands, not only the Dutch but also the German and Danish, on the thirtieth place. The great American newspaper is enthusiastic about sustainable tourism, and the great biodiversity of the Wadden sea.

Further calls to the newspaper, Schiermonnikoog and Lauwersmeer National Park, on the border of Friesland and Groningen, as interesting destinations.

The bit about the ‘Frisian Islands’ is short, but marketing Brand Fryslân, called the mention “a great opportunity to visit the Frisian Islands broad international positioning as an interesting tourist destination”.

According to the organizers, the place on the list thanks to an earlier trip made by Marketing Groningen and NBTC Holland Marketing was organized.

On the first place of the list is Puerto Rico, followed by Hampi in India and Santa Barbara, California.
