Facebook, is a huge and profitable platform that is built on continuous commitment, and now it is starting hide.

But don’t worry, it’s only available for users in Australia as of yet.

The trial, which began today and was confirmed by TechCrunch, it will hide the total number of likes on a post, and that post was liked by “[a friend] and a few others.” The limited experiment was designed to see whether or not the changes will improve the users ‘ well-being, and it is possible that the test could be rolled out to other regions as a success.

“We are working with a limited test, like, comment, and video view counts have been made private on Facebook. We will gather feedback in order to understand whether this change will improve the experience, ” a Facebook spokesperson told TechCrunch.

Earlier this year, Instagram, which is also owned by Facebook, started to hide the love in Japan, Brazil, india, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, following a successful test, which was started in Australia.
