The president said he called off the attack because of the number of casualties was not proportional to what Tehran did, Benjamin and Hall, reports.

In the hours after Iran is said to have downed a $125 million U.S. surveillance drone over international waters by a surface-to-air missile, despite Tehran’s vehement denials, the President, Trump gave the green light for a military retaliatory strike for later in order to put an end to in the middle of an alarming spike in the power supply.

The inflammatory incident, which comes on the heels of the escalating rhetoric between Washington and Tehran, and the other is clear, to sabotage the ship to attack – it has a lot of AMERICAN lawmakers and government officials still have the fear that some sort of military confrontation to be inevitable. But, what about Iran when it comes to fighting back, and what there is in the land of the shadow of the weapons in the arsenal, and how is the Iranian military is structured?

“Iran has had two military institutions. The first of these is the Artesh, or regular armed forces – Army, Navy, air – to-Air, and then there’s the Revolutionary Guard corps, or IRGC, with its own chain of command, and the strength of the structure. The majority of the escape and the harmful actions in the Middle East that can be attributed to Iran, the actors, the work of the IG,” says Miguel Miranda, an analyst, an expert in military technology in the Asia pacific, told Fox News. “Now that Iran has a colorful arsenal and a lot of it is, of course, dated, but still functional. The old CH-47 Chinook helicopters, and M60 Patton tanks immediately come to mind – and this is a thing of the Artesh, with it.”

But, he said, since the 1990s, Iran’s state-owned military-industrial sector and a steady progress in four specific areas, and it is now a “regional director” and, together with Israel and Turkey when it comes to unmanned aerial systems, small arms, light weapons, artillery, and ballistic missiles, and other guided munitions.

“Iran has proved that it is able to start dozens of road-mobile short-range ballistic missiles at targets outside of its borders. The latest innovations have been a cruise missile, probably a pattern, in the former Soviet union, which has been designed with a range of over 1,200 miles,” Miranda continued. “Iran’s missile technology, and the ability to produce it, it is much more advanced than that of an Arab state. Iran could mass-produce short -, medium -, and long-term, anti-aircraft missiles, based on the reversed engineered Chinese, Russian and AMERICAN models.”

Iran says it has tested advanced anti-ship missiles in the final day of a naval drill near the strategic Strait of Hormuz, the passageway for one-fifth of the world’s oil supply. State TV says “Ghader”, or “Capable”, a missile with a range of up to 200 kilometers (120 miles), was one of the weapons on Tuesday. It says that the weapon can destroy warships. Iran has been a state party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear weapons (non-proliferation treaty for almost four decades, it is not a member of the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) and The Hague code of Conduct against Ballistic Missile Proliferation.

Since the revolution of 1979, and the imposition of significant western sanctions, coupled with the devastating 1980s war with borders to Iraq, Iran is struggling with a weak economy, and severe restrictions when it comes to the easy promotion of your weapons cache, with most of the others in the area have been able to do it. That is why a lot of of the any Iranian depository, it is said to be locally sourced, with plenty of money from the government to spend more on everything from the import of spare parts and tools, and to develop the plants with a little bit of help from the outside.

According to John Wood, founder and author of the book “Russia, the Asymmetric Threat to the United States of america,” Iran will acquire the majority of the equipment and the experience of Russia and China, together with the acquisition of technology through the black market, mainly from Eastern Europe and North Korea, as well as by means of clandestine operations in the Western Europe.”

While the UN conventional arms embargo, has somewhat helped to limit what Iran can gain access from abroad through the formal channels, it will expire in October of 2020, the rendering of an open question as to whether or not Iran can be the purchase of a state-of-the-art weaponry from a broad range of players.

In this picture, posted on the official Twitter account of the Saudi press agency, SPA, on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2015, the seized weapons will be given to board an Iranian fishing boat bound for Malaysia. The Saudi-led coalition to fight Yemen’s Shi’ite rebels, saying that it was a foiled attempt by Iran to smuggle missiles and other weapons to the rebel forces on board a fishing vessel. Miranda stressed that Iran’s presence is “a success story”, and they boast all kinds of handheld device as a prop-driven spy planes, to long-endurance models that can carry bombs on the wings for the infamous Saeqeh is that it comes with a “jet-powered UAV able to launch the ammunition.”

And then there is the secret of action that are routinely used in order to imitate the inventions of his enemies, and, in particular, Miranda was suspected, and that the loss of the U.s.’s presence in the long war in Afghanistan helped Iran in the process of acquiring the damaged models, and for them to be able to disassemble it for reverse engineering.

“Iran will use the militias, cells, and a spear in the Shi’ite communities in the region as a whole, to carry out acts of sabotage, notably in the energy complex, and the kidnapping of Westerners and for the attacks on the united states and its allies,” Wood told Fox News by e-mail. “Over the past few decades, Iran has a large and robust military-industrial complex, they also have chemical and biological weapons.”

Still, the breadth and the quality of the chemical and biological capabilities, in spite of having ratified the Convention on Biological and toxin weapons convention (BTWC) in 1973, it is not entirely clear.

In addition, by Jonathan Ruhe, associate director of the Jewish Institute for National security and Safety of America’s (JINSA) Gemunder Center for Defense and Strategy, given that, as Iran is missing some of its neighbouring countries, it has not sought to adjust its inventory with the major players, as well as the United States, but has, instead, become skilled in the use of the basic capabilities of the advanced ways to target US and its allies’ vulnerabilities, such as the overwhelming naval and air defense, with a lot of attack craft, missiles and drones.”

“Ironically, as we will see, as we saw in the 1980’s in Iran with the use of a simple naval mines in vital shipping lanes can do a lot in terms of increasing tensions with the United States of america,” he said. “Years of sanctions have forced Iran to the development of a significant domestic arms industry. This will not be the next generation of capabilities, and they could not defeat the united states in a major head-on conflict. But they are good enough, and Iran has enough of them to make it more difficult for the U.S. and allied forces.”

Last year, He controversially pulled out of the 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran, the re-imposition of economic sanctions, the application of which, experts have come up with a “maximum pressure” campaign, the regime in Tehran.

In the meantime, Iran has for weeks warned that it’s part of an insidious chapter in its dispute with the West next week, threatening to dump the aspects of the fragile nuclear deal and resumption of the construction of the inventory, except for the European signatories of the deal, you can get around the crippling US sanctions.

“Iran has a substantial staff and has a network of proxies and partners in the region, which can be activated to deter any direct attack on Iran’s soil,” said Ali Aqszzxtjy, executive Director of the Iran Project, either by e-mail. “It would be a mistake to think that an escalation between Iran and the US, it will be a quick, cheap and easy to use for military operations. It can also lead to a major confrontation with a large loss of blood and treasure on both sides, and even a wider regional war involving their respective powers.”
