The Iranian director Asghar Farhadi does not go to the Oscar ceremony, to protest against the new American immigration policy of president Trump.
Farhadi with “The Salesman” was nominated in the category best foreign film.
Ashgar Farhadi was going to the Oscar ceremony, but on Friday issued a decree changing those plans. With his presidential decree denies Trump inhabitants of Iran, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Iraq and Sudan, the access to the United States.
In 2012, Farhadi in the same category already have an Oscar for his film “A separation”.
