iPhone sales fall for third quarter in a row

Apple has in the third quarter of this year for the third time in a row, less iPhones sold than a year earlier.

Apple sold in the third quarter of this year, 45.5 million iPhones, where last year in the same period 48 million iPhones were. Reports that Apple in the announcement of its quarterly results on July, August and september, the fourth quarter of the fiscal year of Apple.

Apple turned in that period a revenue of 46.9 billion dollars (45,8 billion euros) in 2015 that was to 51.5 billion dollars; a decline of almost 9 percent. The profit is $ 9 billion (8,26 billion) and 18.9 percent lower than the 11.1 billion of last year.

The iPad sales are with 9.3 million copies sold in the meantime but 5,10 percent lower than sales last year. This seems to be the huge drop in sales iPads of the last few years to flatten.
