Internazionale presents Conte as successor to the sacked Spalletti

The Friday Antonio Conte was presented as the successor of Luciano Spalletti. The 49-year-old Italian was the past few days has been frequently associated with the season.

Conte was previously coach of Atalanta Bergamo, Juventus, the Italian national team and Chelsea. Since his departure to Chelsea in 2018, he was without a club.

‘The Blues’ picked up Conte in the season 2016/2017 with the championship title and a year later the FA Cup. In his last season in London ended Chelsea fifth in the Premier League. In his time as Juventus-coach (2011-2014) led to Conte the club to three championships.

“I’m very much looking forward to this new chapter in my life. I will attempt to get the trust of the chairman and the directors to pay back,” said Conte at the site of Inter.

“I have for Inter because of the status of the club, the good basis that is, the ambitions and the history. I want Inter back where it belongs.”

Spalletti was Thursday discharged in Milan. The sixty-year old fellow countryman of Conte ended with the club of Stefan the Free twice as the fourth and picked up no prizes.
