International film about Rotterdam postponed
The production of the international film Rotterdam, I Love You is delayed.
That confirms producer Matt Jaems. He hopes to have within half a year still to run.
“I’m already seven years working on this project. It is my life’s work,” says Jaems. Rotterdam, I Love You is the fourth installment in the film series Cities of Love, ” which by a variety of filmmakers, an ode to a metropolis. “Quality is my priority and the past week it has become clear that we cannot now guarantee.”
Jaems is determined Rotterdam, I Love You. “The film will be there for sure. I am optimistic and hope that we will sometime in the next six months can start to run.” Initially, would the shots take place this summer in the port city.
According to Jaems, there are no problems with the financing of the film and all the actors are on board. “As far as we know, we are turning with the same cast.” The manufacturer dares not to exclude that in the future, cast members dropping out because of the shifted images.
Among others, Barry Atsma, Martin Koolhoven and Paula van der Oest added earlier to the team of directors of Rotterdam, I Love You. The film, which eventually eleven directors, consists of several separate stories, all with an ode to the harbour city.
