Some people just want to watch the world burn, while others just want to do something to get likes on Instagram.
One trap in New York City, has become a surprise tourist attraction after it was shown in the movie, “Wild.” And while fans are apparently flocking to the site in order to recreate the scenes from the film, and some of the residents are taking to social media to remind people that it is, perhaps, not the best.
The location was excellent, located on 167th Street in the Bronx, will appear in the film as the titular character, dancing down them in full clown make-up. The scene was heavily featured in promotional material for the film, and it clearly resonated among the fans.

However, not everyone is happy with the new found fame. As one Twitter user put it: “it appears that it is up the stairs to 167th in the #Bronx is now referred to as #JokerStairs, and are becoming more and more an attraction for People who are really going to try to come in, and be killed, for real. I don’t know.”

Another user posted, “that is a terrible kick, at 167, and now re-named ‘the joker, ‘kick’, so I [sic] just want to remind everyone that the Us [sic], it is not the best place for all the tourist attractions, bereft of the loved one.”
It doesn’t seem to be stopping people though. More and more fans are posting pictures of the steps each and every day, and as some users have pointed out, it’s been added to Google Maps.
