Inspection sends intervention teams to nursing homes
The Inspection for Health care (health care inspectorate) has far-reaching measures taken at three verpleeghuisinstellingen because the medication safety does not comply.
That has secretary of state Martin van Rijn published.
Van Rijn has Monday for the second time in a list released of the nursing homes where the main concerns about. Five of the eleven nursing homes that last summer for the first time on the list were not at the most intensive supervision to know him and stand still.
Because there are three (small) new institutions on the list are placed, count is now eight verpleeghuisinstellingen.
The settings made in september (still) under intensive supervision were Avondrust, Care Residence Zonnestraal, Motion 3.0, Careyn, Cato, Humanitas, Laurens and Park.
The secretary of state also had to know that, since the start of the additional monitoring in 2015, with 111 of the 150 verpleeghuisinstellingen where there was an increased risk the quality now is ok. There is no additional monitoring of the inspection required.
“Let me be clear: I want the quality as soon as possible improves in all the homes where needed. Fortunately, there is by the top of sitting really made progress in the past period of time. At 111 settings is the additional monitoring in the meantime is redundant,” says Van Rijn.
