Four men were approached by a gunman at a gas station in Florida early Sunday, the police said.
Four Indiana friends on spring break in Florida were confronted by a gunman at a gas station early Sunday but managed to grab the gun and tackling the robber to the ground, police say a surveillance video shows.
The alleged attempted robbery took place around 3:45 in Oakland Park, about 4 km north of Fort Lauderdale, WPLG reported.
The four friends were on the gas when a gunman from a car, approached them and demanded money, Broward Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Gina Carter said.

The friends jumped into action, with a struggle with the gun from the would-be robber from the hand, while the others tackled him to the ground, police said.
A scuffle ensued and a shirtless man ran to push the friends of the shooter, police said. The gunner and his shirtless accomplice then fled the scene.
Kevin Campbell, the shooter’s alleged accomplice on Sunday, faces several charges including robbery with a firearm and resisting an officer.
The shooter’s accomplice, later identified by police as 33-year-old Kevin Campbell, was arrested shortly after the incident, WSVN 7News reported. Campbell faces multiple charges, including armed robbery and resisting another officer, the report said.

Campbell faces a judge on Monday and is being held on a $10,000 bond. Authorities say the other suspect is not arrested.
