Archaeologists in Greece have made a fascinating discovery in an ancient palace on the island of Crete in greece.

To quote from the Greek Ministry of Culture and tourism, ANA-MPA reports, that the problem was discovered during excavations in Zominthos centre. The old royal palace complex on the island of Crete, Mount Psiloritis, also known as Mount Ida) is an important archaeological site, which dates back to circa 1900 B. c

Archaeologists have uncovered a corridor with pillars that leads to a room containing the remains of a chair, a throne room, according to ANA-MPA. Other finds include clay pipes, from an old drainage system as well as a large number of clay vessels.

The discovery is the latest fascinating to think of the ancient Greek world. Last year, archaeologists have found the remains of a lost city in the southern part of the Peloponnese is supposed to have been settled by convicts, from the Trojan War.

The Experts also announced that the earliest known written record of Homer’s epic poem “The Odyssey” can be found at the ancient site of Olympia in Greece.

In a separate project, the researchers also found that the details of the old “pyramid” on the uninhabited Greek island of Keros.
