In tears of farewell, Obama awards Biden rich, the ” Medal of Freedom


WASHINGTON – At the dawn, both in their political careers, surrounded by the tears of friends and family, the President Barack Obama on Thursday awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Joe Biden, the man he described as “the best Vice President that we have ever seen.”

The Vice President shrugged shocked when Obama announced he was awarding the nation’s highest civilian honor, on his right-hand man for eight years Biden turned away from the cameras, wiping some of the tears, then stood stoically as Obama, the blue-and-white ribbon draped around his neck.

“I just hope that the star in the story of the said in my name when you talk about this presidency that I can say I was part of the journey of a remarkable man who did things for this country note,” Biden.

Obama said there had been “no turf wars between our people,” a departure from other past administrations.
