As the leading 2020 Dems big advocate for the Green New Deal, it turns out, most Americans are concerned about other issues.
Big-name White house hopefuls your support have introduced thrown behind the expensive proposal to combat climate change, the star freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY and Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass. Critics say it could cost as much as $93 trillion euros, or around US $600,000 per household.
The staggering calculation comes from a new study co-authored by the former Director of the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office.

But a Pew Research Center survey this month found that the Problem of climate change 17th place on a list of what President Trump and the Congress should be a top priority this year.
Only 44 percent of those who said responded that climate change should be a top priority, far below the 70 percent who want the economy to be in focus.
However, 56 per cent did say that the environment should focus on top – that was the 8. the highest response in the survey.
Together with the economy, the cost of health care, education, terrorism, Social security, the top five rounded out.

Earlier this month, Ocasio-Cortez, a ramp-up of the rhetoric to push for the Green New Deal, calling it a “life and death” issue in a series of tweets.
“Don’t mess with our future. When it comes to climate, it all of our lives on the game. The younger you are, the more you’ll see. It is life and death for us. And we will fight it,” she tweeted.

On Sunday, the 2020 candidate Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., rejected, a price tag on the Green New Deal, and “Medicare for all”,” to, “it’s not about cost, but the return-on-investment.
Previously, sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-NY, in the year 2020 candidate, told supporters, “the entire framework” of the proposal, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., co-sponsored by the guidelines along with Bernie Sanders and Sen. Cory Booker, D-N. J., said he was “enthusiastically supported” the “bold measures against climate change.”
Other democratic senators who have expressed support for the plan: Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley, Oregon; and Debbie Stabenow, of Michigan.

The unprecedented plan is not cheap, American Action Forum President Douglas Holtz-Eakin and his co-authors wrote in their study.
“The Green New Deal is clearly very expensive,” the study concluded. “Further expansion of the Federal role in some of the most important decisions of daily life, however, would be likely to have a lasting and harmful impact than its enormous price tag.”
