Three people have been arrested in North Carolina on Wednesday, after the mother of a 2-year-old girl who allegedly traded her daughter for a few more to it in the car.
Alice Todd, 45, is said to have sold her own child for a 1992 Plymouth Laser, the property of John Chavis, 47, and Vicenio, a man of 53 by 2018. The toddler was in the hospital with bruises, you will be asked for a police investigation.

Chavis, according to Lexington, The Dispatch, a newspaper, has told investigators that she was the mother of the child. She changed her story, allegedly claiming she was the child’s mother was adopted, but could not provide any such paperwork.

The three were arraigned on Monday and charged with the unlawful sale, surrender, or purchase of a minor child and is jailed under a $50,000 bond each. They are scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 21.
