A Missouri officer shot while responding to a call in the Northern part of California. Louis County, is dead, and a suspect is in custody, police said.
Offcier, Michael Langsdorf, who has been with the North County Police department and the Cooperative for three months, it has been identified as the officer who was shot and killed while responding to a company for a bad check to report to the division chief, and John Buchannan, told reporters on Sunday.
The Chief Buchannan spoke with reporters outside a hospital in California. Louis, where Langsdorf, had been taken after the shooting. Buchannan said a gun was recovered from the scene.
