“It was a defensive briefing the candidate Trump on Aug. 17 in 2016,” Texas Rep., John Ratcliffe, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, said Thursday on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.” “And I can’t tell you what he said: He was not warned about Russia, the investigation, the Peter Strzok 18 days had opened earlier.”
Strzok, who was later removed by Special Counsel Robert Müller’s investigative team for the sending of anti-Trump-texts, was a Central coordinator for the FBI in the defensive briefing, to the several agencies. Three weeks earlier, Strzok, an FBI counterintelligence investigation campaign aide George Papadopoulos opened.
A source familiar with the sensitive records about the August briefing told Fox News that Strzok position is in a unique — and seemingly contradictory–. Strzok opened the FBI investigation into the Russian public relations trump campaign volunteers, while at the same time, he’s supposed to be warning of the trump campaign about the Russian activities.

Strzok also texted by other scheduled rehearsal: “I want another one Tues AM for a minimum of Bill,” he said in reference to chief Bill Priestap. “You think you can add to, [FBI-attorney] Jim Baker? I want both (f)rank and thoughtfulness for the feedback. Plus reps for him.”
These texts about the samples to the briefing were notorious two days before Strzok now – “insurance” – text-to-side.
“I want to believe, the path that you threw out for consideration in Andy’ s office, there is no way he gets elected – but I’m afraid we can’t the risk,” he wrote in the time. “It is like insurance in the unlikely event that you die before you are 40.”
And days ago, page indicated, “[the trombone] not ever be President, right? Right?!” Strzok answered, “no. No, he is not. We will stop it.”
Ratcliffe on Thursday Strzok role questioned.
“Why should Peter Strzok, who would participate in the [former FBI Director] Jim Comey in the direction of in a defensive briefing designed to protect and warn a candidate, the same person, which, in fact, at the time of the examination, the candidates campaign? This should not happen. There are answers to these questions should be,” he said.
