The race for Illinois Governor is shaping up to be brutal – and possibly the most expensive in the history of the United States.
Republican incumbent Bruce Rauner will face off against Democrat J. B. Pritzker, an investor and heir to the Hyatt hotel fortune.
Before the primaries were finished, and Rauner and Pritzker created nominated as their parties, had invested the few millions to attack each other.
Dr. Bruce Gaines, a political science professor at the University of Illinois, told Fox News that the Pritzker Rauner matchup could campaign to be a “negative.”
“It’s a good experiment will go, how negative do you have to be before you the voters away from the polls,” he said.

Republican incumbent Bruce Rauner, 61, took advantage of a national GOP to pull the wave four years ago from a surprising victory in a state otherwise dominated by Democrats. The lieutenancy was the first political office held.
When he was first elected, Rauner promised to “shake up” Springfield, with a pro-business, anti-union agenda included the reduction of property taxes and places limits on office holders. But Rauner has piled up an ongoing spat with state House Speaker Michael Madigan and other Democrats, the left, the state without a budget for two years, while billions of dollars of debt.
To dissociate during the primary, Rauner is trying to from President Trump. He, too, is pushed through controversial laws – including an abortion bill that has drawn criticism from those in his party, but could it be more cheap to moderate voters in the General election.
“We are at a critical time, a critical turning point in Illinois,” Rauner after he won the primary. “I am humbled by this victory. You have me a chance to win the fight against the corruption that plagues Illinois.”
Rauner amassed his fortune as a business man, working as a partner in the private-equity firm GTCR and create R8 Capital ners. He stepped down from GTCR in 2012, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
In the course of his career, Rauner supported community organizations such as the YMCA, the scholarship programs and charter schools, for, according to his campaign website. In spite of his wealth, Rauner declared on his website that he “still wears the same human being”, stay in cheap hotels, with an $18 watch and drives an old van.
Rauner graduated from Dartmouth College and at Harvard. Together with his wife, Rauner’s six children.

Heiress to the Hyatt Hotels fortune and the Gold Coast are, investors won, J. B. Pritzker. To be March primary, the Democrats’ gubernatorial nominee.
If elected, Pritzker, 53, has said he wants to focus on the development of community and social services.
“This campaign is not just about the failed policies of a failed Governor who thinks that the erection of the people in Illinois government, said the cost rather than an investment in the future,” Pritzker, after he won the primary. “No, this campaign is about a fight for economic security for jobs and wages, health care, education, and human services for working families in Illinois.”
During the primary, Pritzker questions to his controversial connections to imprisoned ex-Gov. Rod facing Blagojevich. In the last year of the hearing, The Chicago Tribune won the FBI recorded Pritzker ask Blagojevich for an appointment as Illinois Treasurer. The former Governor was convicted of corruption, was also asked on the recordings, Pritzker for the campaign donations.

He founded the Pritzker Group, a private investment company. Pritzker Group Venture Capital, according to his biography, is the largest technology venture investor in the Midwest of the USA. In addition, Pritzker founded in 1871, is a non-profit, serves digital startups in Chicago.
On his campaign website, Pritzker, the complaint is dealt with, that his wealth makes him similar to how President Trump and Rauner. The difference, he said, is that “it is a question of values,” and added, to destroy that “trump-and Rauner try many of the things that I spent fighting for my life.”
He said his great-grandfather moved to Chicago, without wealth, and was helped by a social service Agency and the public school system.

Pritzker Duke University with a political science degree and Northwestern University School of Law is a graduate.

Battle of the billionaires
Rauner’s personal wealth is just shy of $1 billion, but the Pritzker family is included in the 2017 in the list of Forbes’ 400 richest people in the USA, Pritzker has an estimated worth of $3.4 billion.
But Rauner also has some additional financial help. His top outside of its contributors, Ken Griffin, has an estimated value of $8.5 billion – making him the richest person in Illinois.
Pritzker has already spent $70 million in funds to his campaign; Rauner $50 million for his.
This race is to Excel on the track, the race, the 2010 California gubernatorial election as the most expensive governor’s.
